Las galgas extensiométricas de OMEGA™ están disponibles en una variedad de modelos que cubren la mayoría de aplicaciones destinadas a la medición de la tensión. Su construcción resistente y su flexibilidad los convierten en aparatos ideales para realizar mediciones estáticas y dinámicas muy precisas. Su rejilla de medición está formada por láminas grabadas de constantán que se sellan, posteriormente, en un soporte compuesto de película de poliimida. Los calibradores de tensión de patrón lineal se utilizan para medir la tensión en una dirección única. Se emplean a menudo para aplicaciones relacionadas con análisis experimentales de tensión. El patrón de la calibración de tensión se muestra en la parte izquierda de la tabla. La "flecha" indica la dirección principal de la tensión.

Las galgas extensiométricas de patrón lineal están disponibles en una variedad de estilos y tamaños. OMEGA ofrece patrones lineales miniatura para la medición de la tensión respecto a la concentración de tensión o a zonas de alta pendiente. También disponemos de patrones de rejillas anchas y estrechas y patrones pequeños, medianos y grandes. Con el fin de determinar si los calibradores de tensión disponen de características térmicas combinadas con acero o aluminio, consulte la columna denominada "COMP." (COMPENSACIÓN), en la que "ST" significa "acero" y "AL" hace referencia a "aluminio", mientras que "NO C" indica "no compensada". La columna denominada "BTP" muestra los números de modelo de las zapatas terminales de cementar accesorias.
Se enumeran las dimensiones para la longitud (A) y el ancho (B) de la rejilla del calibrador de patrones, así como la longitud (C) y el ancho (D) de la matriz y del conductor. Los patrones incluyen triángulos de alineación. El material del conductor o la matriz en los patrones se puede ajustar sobre el terreno en todos los extremos a 0,25 mm de la rejilla de lámina sin afectar al rendimiento del calibrador de tensión.
